Composition Assignment

Assignment Description: In this assignment, first we were instructed to go on a website and take notes about the different compositions we were taking photos of. These involved Rule of Thirds, Texture, Pattern, Lines, Depth of Field, Symmetry, Space, Perspective, Color, Balance, and Framing. We then had to go and take photos of these elements, upload them into Photoshop.com, and create a blog in Blogger.com about them.

Photo Descriptions:
Rule of Thirds= "Wreath on Door"
Texture= "White Wall"
Pattern= "Light Bulbs"
Lines= "Garage Door"
Depth of Field= "Black Cord"
Symmetry= "Main Hallway"
Space= "Bird"
Perspective= "Christmas Tree"
Color= "Flowers"
Balance= "Violin"
Framing= "Window"

What I learned from this assignment was that everyday objects, when differently then normal, can be used as very great photos. I also learned that some elements are harder to find then others. For example, finding lines was much easier then finding a framed object. Overall, this assignment has taught me to be able to look at the world differently then I used to.
